Six of us had a fantastic time on one of Australia’s most wonderful whitewater rivers, a stone’s throw from Kosciuszko. Sustained Grade 3/3+ paddling kept our party of five smiling (Thanks Matt for being shuttle driver). Running very low. The Bigarra gauge on 0.58. Section details on Paddle Australia gave us encouragement. Thanks for the write up Simon.
We enjoyed viewing plenty of wildlife; sea eagles, black cockatoos, platypus & (unfortunately) lots of samba deer. If anyone finds a new black Werner paddle up there, please let us know.. One of our members is a little sad without it!
