North East Canoe Club was founded in 2013 to unite river lovers of the North East Victorian Alpine Valleys.

The club caters for a range of skill level, age and a variety of river craft; kayaking, canoeing and rafting. We enjoy sharing a range of river trips; play-boat sessions, single day and multi-day river trips.
Every month we have scheduled river journeys in addition to trips organised by members and friends of the club. Please become a member of our club to join us on club river journeys, river rescue, skills training and events. Our members are spread across the NE from towns including Bright, Myrtleford, Wangaratta, Beechworth, Albury, Wodonga and Mount Beauty. The club pool based kayak rolling/skills sessions are most frequently based from Moore’s pool in Wangaratta.
